Julianne Hough Responds To Incorrect Comments About Her Body, After She Was Accused Of Having A “Mid-Life” Tragedy.
Julianne Hough refuses to let negative emotions stop her from being her happiest self.
Earlier this week, the Dancing with the Stars alum and co-host shared a video on Instagram of her having a “Sunday spa day” at her home, giving fans a glimpse into what goes into her self-care routine.
In the video, Julianne is seen looking silly, wearing a bikini as she does various activities including relaxing in a sauna…
…dancing around in a HigherDOSE red light therapy mask…
… cold diving…
…and get a workout in with a fun trampoline workout:
Despite the joy Julianne seemed to have in the video, it was met with some negative comments about her body and mental state. The video itself has received nearly 1500 views in total since writing this post.
One user wrote: “This is the weirdest thing I’ve seen in a while. While another asked, “I’m worried. Are you okay?”
“Wait, I’m holding your hand when I say this,” said one commenter. “You’re facing mid-life challenges, it’s okay not to write at this healthy time.”
But it didn’t end there. Comments mocking her weight were also present in comments such as, “She looks so thin and out of shape,” “She’s so thin, cut down on Ozempic,” and “Something’s going on here . So boney. Does anyone talk to him??”
There were even some who accused Julianne of “seeking attention.”
After noticing the increasing number of comments for her post, Julianne decided to deal with all the criticism that was thrown at her. He left a long comment on these eight points, explaining his actions:
“1. This black hat is a protective cover from the heat to not burn my hair. It is called a banya hat made of wool, fur or sheepskin.”
“2. Red light therapy is amazing for you and can kill two birds with one stone when you are in the sauna.”
“3. Trampoline was a new test for me today at my friends’ house – this is their practice – sauna, cold water, jumping – it’s for your lymphatic system that promotes lymphatic drainage helps protect the body from diseases and infections. Being in a bikini is the best outfit for these activities especially in this order.”
And despite the cruel comments, Julianne went on to reveal that she “has never been healthy.” She later opened up about the various health conditions and life experiences that led to her current body.
“I was full of inflammation when I was in my 20s and I had a sign for the immune system that I talked about and decided to do during the more than a year and a half ago. ‘I have never been better or happier to come out of the sadness, loss and fear is also stored in the body and we hold on to that in different ways I made it be the most important thing to accept, express, process and release many ideas over the years.”
She also said that what viewers saw in the video is her true self and a reflection of how secure she feels in her own skin. Julianne encouraged those who were not used to seeing her like that to join them, because that can make life more interesting.
In turn, fans followed her, sending encouraging messages with positive sentiments, such as: “For all those rude, judgmental people; she’s enjoying the day focusing on her well-being of body and mind. , dancing and laughing That is not surprising.
Or these: “Ignore the haters!! You’ve never looked better! You’re beautiful, successful and living the best life ever!!!” “Please be kind. don’t be the reason someone doesn’t eat today. don’t be the reason someone hates their body don’t be the reason someone hates their body the person who doesn’t participate in the conversation, the reason why someone hates themselves, trust me, stays with them forever.
And I couldn’t leave this sweet feeling: “Why is it that when a woman is happy, confident and comfortable with herself, people are concerned and judge harshly?”
And this reminder of how fans like to see Julianne as the real her: “Everybody has a good sense. She’s in shape, she’s got a healthy LOVE life, and wearing a BIKINI in warm weather … in the water. Would you like to wear a snowsuit, women, envy and tear someone, it’s not a good look for anyone.
I love that Julianne is enjoying life and doesn’t care who is upset about it! You can read her full message and watch her spa day video below:
